Midnight Sun Skincare started as a personal journey—just me, creating sugar scrubs for myself. But looking back, the path that led me here was anything but ordinary.
I’ve known since middle school that I wanted to own my own business. At 16, while taking a business class in high school, I got my first job in retail and held onto it for five years. Then life shifted—I got married, started a family, and spent the next twenty-plus years as a homemaker and stay-at-home mom to our four children.
Even as I devoted myself to nurturing my family, I never stopped dreaming. I loved making sugar scrubs, and friends and family kept telling me, “You should really share these with others!” I tried to get my products out there, but something always held me back.
For years, I felt torn between being “just” a wife and mom and the lingering thought that I was meant to do something more. As my children grew and became more independent, the dreams I once had started resurfacing. It was through this journey of self-discovery that I finally uncovered what had been holding me back—and stepped into my next chapter.
That’s how Midnight Sun Skincare was born.
